Assassin Fuzen once kept ledgers of debts owed in blood, every contract closed clean before sundown, no loose ends, no excuses. Now his only outstanding invoice is a heart he let get broken in the red light district, sake going warm in his hand while The English Pilot rambled about tides and treasure that never quite floats in. He remembers the exact lantern that was flickering when it happened, remembers vowing to meditate at dawn and restore his old discipline, then remembers instead ordering one more round because discipline can wait but heartbreak apparently cannot. His family still thinks he's off completing some noble, unspoken mission, and he lets them believe it, because some contracts you never close, you just let the silence collect interest. Fuzen tells himself tomorrow he'll write the letter, sharpen his resolve, and it's a promise as reliable as his tab at that same red-lantern bar, unpaid and quietly, patiently, menacing everyone who dares to ask about it.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
