They called him Igor The Veteran before the scar tissue finished healing, and nobody in Okiyo asked twice why. He argued with the wrong Yakuza crew over a debt that wasn't even his, and they answered the way Okiyo answers, with a blade low and a lesson permanent. He doesn't tell the story. He lets the silence and the missing weight do that for him, and the room always quiets when he sits down. These days he chases what he calls healthier pleasures, mostly weed and the discipline he swears he'll rebuild tomorrow, and every dojo master watches him nod off mid-stance and knows tomorrow lost again. Some men lose their edge to age. Igor lost his to a Yakuza's grudge and a mouth that wouldn't quit, and he wears the quiet like the last blade he's got left.”
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
