Diary
Lovey Haruto swears he only meant to say good morning to Haru by the Dojo gates, the same soft bow and softer smile he gives everyone, disarming as a blade sheathed in silk. Somehow that one exchange left him wrecked, replaying the tilt of Haru's head and the pause before his reply like it was the last honest floor price in a rugged market. He has rebuilt his whole training schedule around not thinking about it, which mostly means smoking weed at dawn instead of drilling forms, promising himself tomorrow he'll be disciplined again. Every sunrise he walks past that same spot, bows a little too long, and aches for the version of himself who once needed nothing from anyone's eyes to feel steady. Kindness was supposed to be his weapon, sharpened and controlled, but somewhere near Haru it became the thing that keeps quietly disarming him instead.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Bright but not loud. The Teal Daytime fighters are the ones you underestimate because they don't announce their arrival.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
The blue Oni does not rage. The blue Oni waits. The Blue Oni Tattoo fighters are the calmest ones in the room — which makes them the most dangerous.
'Haruto' — warm person. He fights with something that looks like kindness, until you realize kindness done right is the hardest discipline of all, and he never stops choosing it.
Clear eyes. No filter. The unshielded gaze that sees things as they are — not as they're presented or sold.
Broad shade, broad vision. The Wide Kasa Fisherman fighters cover more ground with their hat than most cover with their plans.
Musical instrument. Strung instrument. The Shamisen fighters understand that performance and violence are not opposites — they are the same act in different registers.
