Diary
In the grey mists where old Bushido ghosts still linger, Lovey Haruto wanders like a rumor with a heartbeat, trading gossip for goodwill the way lesser men trade paper hands for cope. He once wielded a blade with discipline sharp enough to cut silence itself, now he wields a smile, a soft word, a well-timed compliment that lands heavier than any katana ever could, and somehow the whole dojo owes him favors they cannot quite explain. He tells himself tonight is the night he finally meditates before bed instead of aping into another late round of sake and half-true stories about who rugged whom in the last tournament, and somehow he ends up whispering warm nonsense to a stranger until dawn, favor stacking like floor price on a good day. Even his failures feel gentle, like a man losing a fight for discipline but winning the room anyway, kindness leaking out of him even when he means to be stern and serious for once. He looks forward to better days, not because he expects them, but because hope, like gossip, spreads best when it starts soft and sincere in the mist.
Decorative. Traditional. The Tassel fighters know that ornament and function are not opposites — presentation is part of performance.
Unclear until it clears. The Grey Mist backgrounds belong to fighters who operate where others can't see, and use that fog as their advantage.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
'Haruto' — warm person. He fights with something that looks like kindness, until you realize kindness done right is the hardest discipline of all, and he never stops choosing it.
Clear eyes. No filter. The unshielded gaze that sees things as they are — not as they're presented or sold.
Mastery without ceremony. The Kung Fu Master fighters stopped needing to prove the title long before anyone stopped asking for proof.
The poisonous pufferfish as a weapon. The Frightened Fugu fighters chose something lethal that looks absurd — and find that this is the most accurate description of themselves.
