Diary
On a street so crowded it should have swallowed any small joy whole, Lovey Haruto found himself doubled over laughing with Haru, the two of them leaning on each other like old dojo pillars that had long since forgotten their posture. People turned to look, expecting a scam or a scuffle, and instead found only warmth spilling out of two former swordsmen who once cut men down and now could barely finish a joke without crying. That laugh did more for his reputation than any blade ever had, and Lovey walked away from it feeling, for once, like the richest degen on the block without a single coin changing hands. Riding that high, he has decided to teach self defence classes, insisting that true strength is a gentle hand and an honest heart, though his first lesson mostly involved him getting tackled by a beginner while explaining the importance of discipline. Still he shows up every week, sake breath and all, promising his students that kindness can block a punch if you really, truly believe, and somehow, against all reason, a few of them are starting to believe him too.”
Theology made weapon-adjacent. The Golden Jesuit Crosses fighters have a philosophy and the crosses are its badge — precise, absolute, delivered with complete conviction.
The hour when most give up. The Blue Evening fighters are still at their desk, still watching the chart, still holding.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
The name is the lore. The Poop Pride Kimono fighters have transcended embarrassment so completely that they wear the proof. Undefeated.
'Haruto' — warm person. He fights with something that looks like kindness, until you realize kindness done right is the hardest discipline of all, and he never stops choosing it.
Paper screen optics. The Shoji Glasses fighters see the world through traditional frames — and find that the tradition holds.
Nothing hidden. No armor above the neck. The Bald fighters face everything without cover and consider this the only honest approach.
The magical longbow. The Runed Yumi fighters inscribed power into their range weapon — the runes are the reason the arrows find what they're looking for.
