Diary
Lovey Haruto once wore his discipline like armor, a blade-sworn son of quiet dojos where every bow meant something, but these days his sheath holds nothing sharper than a warm smile and questionable decision-making. At the izakaya, three Yakuza enforcers loomed over his table with the usual threats, and Haruto responded the only way his rewired brain knew how: complimenting their tattoos, buying a round, and somehow, three shochu deep, unbuttoning his shirt mid-sentence like it was part of the negotiation. He can do better, he tells himself every single morning, usually while nursing a hangover shaped like regret and scrolling his wallet for gas money he definitely aped away on a coin called after a cat. The old masters taught restraint; Haruto teaches himself restraint too, right after this one drink, right after this one fight, right after he finds his shirt. Somewhere beneath the chaos, the kindness stays real, disarming even armed men who came looking for blood and left, inexplicably, hugging him instead.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Royalty that refused the crown. The Purple Night backgrounds belong to fighters who could have been somewhere easier and chose not to be.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
The organization runs deep. The Yakuza Tattoo Sleeve fighters have commitments that predated the Dojo and will outlast it.
'Haruto' — warm person. He fights with something that looks like kindness, until you realize kindness done right is the hardest discipline of all, and he never stops choosing it.
Clear eyes. No filter. The unshielded gaze that sees things as they are — not as they're presented or sold.
Clean but rough. The White Ruffian fighters look like they could have behaved properly and chose not to. The white makes the choice more visible.
