Goro was sane once, back when discipline meant something sharper than a hangover, before the Hidden Teahouse taught him that secrets pour easier than sake and twice as fast. He remembers laughing too loud that first night, tears already sliding down before the punchline even landed, some old grief finding the crack in his ribs the way it always does. They called it thrilling, whispering ledger keys and floor prices between sips, and maybe it was, the way falling off a roof is thrilling right up until the ground. Now he sits with the same cup, half a ronin still bowing to a code nobody left alive to enforce, carrying every fallen brother's name in his throat like they might need carrying again. He tries to swear off the Teahouse every week, fails every week, and somehow that failure feels like the only ceremony he has left.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Royalty that refused the crown. The Purple Night backgrounds belong to fighters who could have been somewhere easier and chose not to be.
