Diary
Goro flirted with Rin in the crowded streets the way he does everything now, laughing loud enough to scare off the ghosts he still carries on his back, and somehow the favor stuck even though his voice cracked halfway through the joke. He wanted to be smooth, wanted to be the kind of man who says the right thing and walks away clean, but his eyes went wet mid grin like always, grief leaking out sideways because there's no ceremony left in him to hold it back. Rin didn't flinch, just let him be soft and ridiculous at once, and that small mercy felt heavier than any bounty he's ever collected in this life or the last one. Now he says he wants quiet, a hut, some tea, maybe finally stack disciplined reps instead of stacking bar tabs and rekt trades, but the dojo floor still smells like the friends he buried and the weed he leans on to forget it. He'll try for stillness tomorrow, probably, right after one more drink, one more laugh that turns into tears before it even finishes leaving his mouth.
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Royalty that refused the crown. The Purple Night backgrounds belong to fighters who could have been somewhere easier and chose not to be.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
The dragon lives on the body now. The Dragon Head Tattoo fighters carry their ambition on the surface — it's not hidden, and it's not a metaphor.
He carried a spear through more wars than he can count and outlived nearly every man in his line. He buried brothers by torchlight and never broke — the tears came later, all at once.
The world through affection. The Loveheart Shades fighters see everything as worth caring about — and have found this is more effective than the alternative.
In motion even when still. The Wavy fighters are always already moving — the hair is just the most visible evidence.
Not metaphorical. Someone's leg bone, spiked. The Spiky Femur fighters have been here long enough that the bones of their enemies are now equipment.
