Diary
They still call him Teary Goro because he cannot get through a toast without his eyes going soft, even the happy ones, even the ones for himself. Once he was on the shortlist for shogun, a real one, sealed scrolls and whispered names, before a wild boar crashed through the izakaya on a slow Tuesday and he put it down with a cleaver and half a bottle of shochu still in his other hand. The council did not love that a future shogun smelled like boar blood and barley, so they quietly rugged him off the list, and Goro laughed about it that same night until the laugh cracked open into something wetter. Now he goes booth to booth in that same izakaya asking drunk degens what he should do with his life, nodding solemnly at every terrible answer, carrying each fallen plan like it deserves a proper burial. He keeps promising himself next month he becomes disciplined again, sword drills at dawn, no shochu before noon, and every single time the boar story gets told again and somebody buys him a round and discipline quietly excuses itself from the table.difícil
No accessory. Maximum presence. The Shirtless Runt fighters decided that bare skin is its own kind of armor — visible, deliberate, impossible to mistake.
Unclear until it clears. The Grey Mist backgrounds belong to fighters who operate where others can't see, and use that fog as their advantage.
The foundation. The crowd. The 2,426 who showed up and kept showing up. Degens are what the Dojo is built from — not the rare exceptions, but the persistent presence.
No clothing needed. The Shirtless Runt fighters removed every layer between themselves and the fight. Maximum exposure. Maximum honesty.
He carried a spear through more wars than he can count and outlived nearly every man in his line. He buried brothers by torchlight and never broke — the tears came later, all at once.
Formal vision. The Spectacles fighters approached clarity with the same seriousness they bring to everything else — completely.
Patience as weapon. The Noose fighters don't rush — they set the conditions and wait for the opponent to walk into them.
